Seeds of Love

Semilla de Amor is a program aimed at extremely poor children in Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, between 1 and 12 years old.

In Venezuela, malnutrition in children and families is increasing. According to an article published on September 14, 2021 by Carabobeño Magazine titled "Malnutrition and stunting hit Venezuela's poorest slums," 35% of children under two years of age in Venezuela are chronically malnourished, characterized by stunted growth, according to the Venezuelan Food Safety Observatory.
"Everyone is suffering. All the dramatic consequences are seen in the vulnerable groups, which are children under five years old. I just saw a ten-year-old child who looked like he was two," highlights the nutritionist and professor at the University Central of Venezuela (UCV), Marianella Herrera.

FUNDA JIREH, through its "Semilla de Amor" program, aims to feed 200 children daily. To do this, we need to acquire a house where we can serve breakfast, lunch and snacks from Monday to Friday. Additionally, we want every child to have the freedom to play, swing, jump and achieve the happiness they deserve.

Our purpose with "Semilla de Amor" is to give each child hope and a smile, allowing them to be children like others, who can play and dream of becoming good men and women for our society.

We will achieve all this with the help of community volunteers, non-profit organizations and national and international companies.
If you want to be part of this divine dream, you can contribute your Seed of Love through your donation to ensure that children have a nutritious diet.
You can make your DONATION through Zelle, PayPal, Venmo and Cash App.

Our commitment is to "Feed them" (Mark 6:37).
