The Story of FUNDA JIREH: A Seed of Love Planted by God
A Divine Call
The history of FUNDA JIREH is rooted in a deep spiritual experience. On February 13, 2018, in the middle of the stillness of the night, God burst into Yenia Oliveros's dream of her. At approximately 2 am, she heard her clear and direct voice: “Go to Miami, Florida, to register a foundation to feed the children in Venezuela and the children of Trinidad and Tobago.” Waking up immediately, Yenia headed to the living room of her apartment to pray and seek divine guidance. In her prayer, she expressed: “Lord, I have heard your voice, I know that you have spoken to me, and I am willing to do your will. But you know that I submit to my husband and my pastor. You deal with them when I go to tell them what you have told me.” This prayer marked the beginning of a path guided by the Holy Spirit, full of faith and trust in the divine plan.
A Purposeful Beginning
On August 7, 2018, renewed hope was born for many children in desperate situations. That day marked the beginning of the USA FUNDA JIREH Missionary Support Project, an initiative with a profound purpose: to establish a foundation in Miami, Florida, dedicated to sending food aid to the neediest children in Venezuela and Trinidad. This project, inspired by faith and love, is aimed especially at the children of the Iglesia Cristo Única Esperanza and other churches in the state of Carabobo and Port of Spain. The mission is clear: protect and promote the comprehensive development of children at risk and abandoned.

The Founders: Committed Hearts
Behind this noble cause are Jeluis Ortuño Vázquez and Yenia Yolimar Oliveros Martínez, two people united not only by marriage, but also by a shared vision of service and Christian love.
Jeluis Ortuño Vázquez
• Born in Valencia, Carabobo, on April 28, 1978, Jeluis is a man dedicated to both his family and his faith. Married to Yenia since 2001, together they have two sons, Adonis and David. Graduated in Business Administration in 2000, his life took a momentous turn in 2006 when he accepted Jesus as his Savior. Since 2008, he has been actively involved in Christ the Only Hope Church.
Yenia Yolimar Oliveros Martínez
• Yenia was born in San Felipe, Yaracuy, on June 16, 1977. With a solid academic background, she graduated in Public Accounting in 2001 and later in Theology in 2017. Her encounter with Jesus in 2005 led her to dedicate herself to serving indigenous people communities and to work at the Christ the Only Hope Church since 2008.
Confirmation of the Name
The foundation was not only born from God's call, but also from his confirmation of him. After receiving the vision, Yenia spoke with her husband and her pastor, who fervently supported the mission. In a meeting with the General Director of Missions of the Assemblies of God of Venezuela, they shared the vision. When asked the name of the foundation, Yenia mentioned that they had been praying about it and that the names "Ebenezer" and "Jireh" had come up. The director, smiling, suggested “Jireh” because of its meaning: "God will provide." Thus was born the name “Funda Jireh,” a combination of “Foundation” and “Jireh,” symbolizing divine provision.
Project justification
The situation in Venezuela is critical. Food shortages are leading an entire generation to face serious health problems. FUNDA JIREH not only aims to provide food, but also to strengthen evangelization and attend to both the physical and spiritual needs of children. The choice of Miami as the headquarters is not coincidental; It is due to its global importance and the divine vision received by Jeluis and Yenia.
